About Us
CNC Building Control is a partnership of 5 local authority building control departments (South Norfolk Council, Norwich City Council, Broadland District Council, Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk and Fenland Council).
We operate from two offices. Our Norwich Office serves the east and our Wisbech office serves the west.
Our highly professional team have a simple philosophy – to guide customers through the legal requirements and cut through all the jargon associated with Building Control. We pride ourselves on being part of your team, offering an end-to-end service driven by a solution-focussed approach. Our surveyors are Registered Building Inspectors (RBIs) registered in England and work under the “Code of Conduct for Registered Building Inspectors”
This code sets out the standards of professional conduct and practice expected of RBIs. It takes its place at the heart of the regulated building control profession. One in which you and where applicable, self-employed contractors are required to take individual responsibility and accountability for your decisions, actions, and behaviour.
